Co-operative education opportunities with High School Credit.

Co-op

At JJ Dance Arts, we offer valuable co-operate education opportunities for high school students in grades 11 and 12, providing an opportunity to earn a credit while gaining real-world experience.

Students can participate in work placements at the studio or assist JJ on TV/film projects in a professional space. This co-op initiative aligns with Ontario’s Ministry of Education policies and guidelines, offering a practical and educational avenue for students to earn a co-op credit, and explore their passions in the dance industry.

"JJ gave me a unique co-op experience that catered to my interests in working as a choreographer, as well as branding and marketing for the studio. It was an amazing opportunity!!"

  • Ayva Pelissier (Season 6 Graduate)

"As a theatre educator in the community with over 20 years of experience, I can always tell when one of JJ's students walks into the audition room or rehearsal studio.

  • Erin Newton (Artistic Director of BIG HEARTS little theatre)

They are always calm, prepared, professional and instinctive. I have a deep respect for the way that JJ runs her program with a clear focus on what is best for the artist and their individual needs and development. I sincerely and confidently recommend her program to aspiring performing artists. It is so much more than a dance studio. JJ Dance Arts is a school for creative and technical development!"
