Mentorship is embedded into our work at JJ Dance Arts, offering an enriching experience for students in grades 9-12.

Our mentorship opportunities empower Senior and Graduate Class students to take the lead coaching technique, assisting faculty, and help cleaning choreography, while also receiving compensation for their time. 

This opportunity provides them with hands-on experience to share their current knowledge of executing choreography with technical proficiency, and also the skill of communicating notes with clarity and encouragement. 

These mentorship experiences not only create confidence in our dancer’s ability to lead a room but the time spent together inspires role model relationships across classes within the program.
